7,000 sq m Commercial Store
Homebase, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

The 7,000 sq m building has 300 mm of type 1 which was laser levelled to receive the reinforced, power floated concrete floor.

Prestige Civil Engineering worked for Interserve who had a contract to build a new Homebase on a brownfield site.

Sub structure pits supported the steel frame of the building and there was a large amount of reinforced concrete to break out in order to excavate the trenches to lay the concrete pipes for the drainage.

All services including BT, electric, cctv, gas and water pipes were excavated and laid by our groundworkers using 360 diggers and dumpers.
